I have really enjoyed this book, but this chapter in particular is masterful. The pain, love, humor especially during their patrol. You captured them so beautifully!
What? Buffy KNOWS Faith dreams. She canonically credited Faith with telling her how to beat the mayor in their shared Slayer dream.

And there it is, again. Just... you think it has ANYTING to do with a woman being stronger, or maybe just anyone being stronger? This... imaginary sexist regime you're fighting is just permeated all through your writing. You turned another great story into shit, just like that, because apparently, only women should be able to enjoy a story about the Slayers.
I mean just look for any actual characterization that the Master was sexist. None exists! You have to invent the sexism so you can then call it out! You've built up your "straw man" so you can then "tear it down" with a quip that makes utterly no sense.
You write so well, but are basically hinting every chance you can that men/straights/etc aren't welcome. That this is the totally queer women only space please! Damn. What a waste.
Jesus Christ... I guess the hate is really there and not just imagined. "Walking while female?" They do have FEMALE commandos too you know. Riley MARRIED one if you recall. This isn't sexist. Freaking self imposed victimization all in your head. Which is a shame, because crap like this can ruin what is an OTHERWISE very, very, VERY good story. But this persecution of the straights/men/etc just... fucking ruins it.
